Scar Tissue Issue

Updated: May 2, 2021

My dealings with clients are typically post surgery, after the healing and in the midst of recovery. While my primary services are for those that come in for basic needs I am into providing information for your care.

Reading up on the Body Massage Issue relating to #ScarTissue, I picked up so many words that were filled with emotions. Vulnerable, anger, anxiety, anguish... I remember those feelings. After a C-section procedure with my first daughter... I will say I felt it all at once... Ouch and Run...

The process of what one has to go through is severely painful and as caretaker of those I have helped it was pleasure to soothe them with a healing touch.

Editor Catherine Ryan stated "Scars are like icebergs—what you see on the surface is not always an accurate representation of what is happening below.” Indeed. Scar Tissue is the result of the bodies healing... but underneath is all Rachel Nall States " Scare Tissue causes pain in several ways.

"Some people experience scar tissue pain as a result of fibrosis, which occurs when the body grows an excessive amount of scar tissue.

other cases, scar tissue pain occurs due to nerve damage resulting from the original injury.

Other symptoms associated with scar tissue include itching, swelling, and tenderness or sensitivity....."

I tell my clients, take the time to understand what is going on with the body.. it will allow you to understand how to properly take care especially after surgeries. Take Care!
